Beyond the Clouds

We met inside of me. I'd dreamed so long of seeing you. We were missing that one day that could have kept us from hating each other. We could have walked across the clouds, kissed without ever stopping, let our hands do as they pleased, lost in the flight of passion. Eye to eye: "I'm all yours." "And I'm all yours," our lips whispered back. So why is it that sometimes we end up so cruel to each other? Let's forget it all, and once again breathe deep with new strength. Love brought us together — and love itself gave its blessing. But what am I supposed to do, how do I live? Inside of me, everything is so beautiful! How do I turn a fairy tale into real life and paint it in bright color? The vision feels exactly like reality. I'm as if standing at the threshold of paradise… But the dream is over — time to get up. I opened my eyes — and there was someone else… You still have a chance for your life not to become a disappointment. Believe in the dream, believe in yourself — your efforts will be repaid many times over. Oh people, don't break apart what wasn't fastened together by you, up in the sky. Let go of anger, forgive it all — we'll all meet again, out there beyond the clouds.
