Getting Acquainted

Waking from a quiet voice — from nature's inaudible singing, I leave my dreams behind, called by the endless cosmos. I'll leave everything unneeded there, let an unforgettable dream help me along. Today I'm aimed toward something better. It'll all happen — the Universe is with me… I'll listen to you with pure delight, and you just point out the way. Being led by you is built into me — so lead me, only don't lie to me! Grant me a fierce, untamed passion, give me an unconquerable will. Don't let Truth be replaced by some truth, however nicely packaged it comes. My heart pounds up into my throat with joy. My frayed nerves have settled down. I've got one minute left before old age. And we only just met this morning…
