I'll Never Fall in Love with the World

I'll never fall in love with the world The way Uncle Jesus did. I'll never go to a shooting range, Even if they call me "Coward". I'll never pull the trigger And won't ascend into heaven, Riding a beam of light, The way Uncle Jesus did. I'll never get tired of lying — The temptation's way too sweet. I'll never be able to give What Uncle Jesus gave. I'll never get it into my head That a minus can turn out a plus. And maybe the reason is this: I'm not chosen, and I'm not Jesus.
