Prison

The grudge inside me had grown so large that I didn't even see it right away. I asked my own inner guide to take me where lawlessness rules. I built a prison — quite the sight to see. I hid everything away in it, out of view. Anxiety, fears, anger, and regrets, locked up in my own personal Alcatraz. But are they really prisoners? The answer's unclear… Sometimes, at night, the door isn't even locked. Then the whole next day turns out to be a nightmare, and instead of a person, out comes a wild animal. No need to call in a hunter for help, better to just bury the hatchet of war. It's nothing new for us to kill ourselves with our own hands. And the verdict is absurd — guilty without any actual guilt. So go easier on the role of the guard, and stop holding your fears hostage in fear itself. Whisper to them: "Friends, go in peace." You'll understand later — all of it was just a mirage.
