I Love You

I love you. Hopefully, just because. I hope that someday you'll love me this way, Appreciate and take the gadget in my chest, And see I'm not some petty simpleton. Not half a dime. But someone who truly matters… Who'll dab your slightly misty gaze with a soul like cotton… In a blurry and, in places, unclear role, Ready by day and night and ..forever — as a tiny moth To gobble stinking suits inside the closet. And loot the thoughts that lie scattered in the hold Of my pearl with pale and tender skin. Till my body shakes, to tug the reins and through the blizzards Run, like a wolf, tireless. To the edge. To bury in the snow your troubles, darling… So that reality, greeting the morning on the balcony, With bliss and love from a morning flacon Will spray you, having breathed a gulp of freedom. And finding neither spite nor any single trouble, Will fill the granaries with the energy of fields, Like honey — or a magic glue To make the pattern of dreams and passion stick. And an ace of just the right suit would turn up And like a charm stay with you to the very end. And if something's wrong — don't shoot the messenger, Don't you dare scold your beloved self, enough. Listen to the waves whispering below. You'll clearly hear the whisper of the world in them: "My darling, you're beautiful beyond infinity."
