I Fix My Gaze

I fix my gaze deep into the silence of the night, Where lights in an endless cascade, Like a greeting from far-off worlds on high, Softly whisper — guys, we're near. And as if right here, within arm's reach. No reason for light to fly for years. A shuttle launched by Dad that passed through Mom Day after day carves in the wrinkles. And biting with delight into the night's starfall, Like a radar, I calmly wait for a signal… From me, but another, a swift glance Eternity has carefully passed on to me. I'll smile at the silence, turning my gaze there, Where love in an endless cascade Revives the ones forgotten almost forever — Those mes who will always be near.
