How Hard It Is for Us to Be Born Human

How hard it is for us to be born human, arriving in the world in pain and screaming. Some for a little while, and some for ages... to stand once more before the face of God. How painful it is to become human, to know yourself and open to the whole world. To remember the faces of vile lies and of truth, not to trade the lyre for a bloody sword. To be a brave human matters greatly, hacking a path through life's wild jungle, not to turn beast, not to become a paper tiger. To change, but not betray yourself. And finally, what could matter more — to find the ones who are like you. Without them none of this makes sense, without a Human… a Human can't go on. In their hearts we'll learn what we are worth — in loving eyes it will be clearly mirrored. Like a hero living out a role on stage: the dreadful in them looks beautiful. And if you've realized: “I've had enough,” — fight on until you kick the bucket. Yes, staying Human hurts. It hurts twice as much when it's the real thing.
