Life Is a War with the World

Life is a war with the world. Or else with your own weight. How do you stay sober While fighting constant stress. Age is a little cart, When experience has rubbed your shoulders raw With the weight of eternal problems. Don't you dare talk back to it. Order is an imaginary thing. Just chaos stacked another way. "Perfect" isn't a slogan, it's a virus. Eating away at the hoisted sail. Hope is a pleasant sweetness. Like a slab of hot bread. For the gut — meh, not really. Yes, we shouldn't. But we believe blindly. Life is a peace with war in it. Very shaky, but sort of in tune. The world will bend to those who are calm. The world salutes you, peaceful warrior.
